In 2015, the budget of the Investment Program of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), will amount to over 352 million rubles. Financial assets will be allocated for construction of the new electrical grid facilities, technical upgrading and reconstruction of the existing overhead transmission lines and transformer substations. According to the approved plan, specialists will put into operation 43 km of overhead transmission lines and over 36 MVA transformer capacities. In particular, the 1st phase of the reconstruction of 110/35/10 kV Sursk substation will be completed in 2015, with commissioning of two transformers with the total capacity of 32 MVA. The objective of these reconstruction projects is to improve reliability of power supply for Gorodischenskiy district and power transit via 110 kV Kluchiki-Kuznetsk-Sursk-CHP-1-Penza-1 overhead power transmission line. Besides, the company plans replace the existing distribution networks in Malaya Valyaevka village, with the total length of 4 km. Activities on the expansion of the existing RoWs adjacent to 35-110 kV transmission lines to meet the regulatory requirements are also underway. According to the approved plans for 2015, trees and shrubs will be removed on the areas covering over 400 ha.
