On April 21, IDGC of Volga, JSC, held a production meeting of technical unit managers under the direction of Aleksandr Faustov, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of Rosseti, JSC. At the meeting, they considered a number of issues of high priority for the distribution electric grids complex including results of 2014-2015 autumn-winter season and goals for 2015. It was noted that all branches of the Company continuously and smoothly operated during the autumn-winter season despite adverse weather conditions in December 2014 and February 2015. Number of technological failures as per grids of 6 kV and higher was reduced by 13%; power undersupply – by 2%. At 110 kV overhead transmission lines number of de-icing operations increased by 104%, at 35 kV overhead transmission lines – by 88%, at 6-10 kV overhead transmission lines – by 88%. 2015 repair program was successfully started. Target figures for Q1 are complied with. Special attention was paid to readiness of IDGC of Volga, JSC, for accident recovery operations – availability of emergency reserve and purpose-built vehicle at the branches of the company, training of emergency response teams, their equipment, transport logistics, and interaction between subdivisions. In the course of the meeting a comprehensive analysis of reasons for occurrence of emergencies was performed and a number of recommendations was prepared. Improvement of activity aimed at reduction of accident rate at the facilities of the electric grids, occupational safety management, arrangements for production control and reduction of number of personal injuries, and quality preparation for the autumn-winter season were mentioned as primary objectives. On the whole, Aleksandr Faustov, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of Rosseti, JSC, gave a positive evaluation to operation of the technical staff of IDGC of Volga, JSC and thanked the managers and the team of the company for quality and responsible work.
