On November 25, the Minister of Industry and Energy of the Saratov Region A.V. Arkhipov handed over to the chief engineer of Rosseti Volga, PJSC O.G. Pavlov a passport of readiness for autumn and winter months of 2020/21 of Saratov Distribution Grids Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC.
The receipt of the document was preceded by a large-scale annual work. As part of preparation for the 2020/21 AWP, 8.8 thousand km of 0.4–220 kV OL were repaired in the area of responsibility of the Saratov Distribution Grids Branch of Rosseti Volga, PJSC, more than 22.9 thousand insulators were replaced, 272 km of wire, 10.3 km of ground wire and almost 4 thousand power poles. Clearing of glades in exclusion zones of power transmission lines on an area of 1,096 hectares was completed. The cost of repair work and maintenance for 9 months of 2020 amounted to 870 million rubles.
195 teams (1,195 people and 391 units of equipment) are ready to fight the consequences of winter bad weather in the Saratov Distribution Grids Branch. For the prompt connection of socially important facilities, power engineers have 175 reserve sources of electricity supply with a total capacity of more than 6.6 MW.
Earlier, the order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia confirmed the full readiness of the companies of the Rosseti group, including Rosseti Volga, PJSC for the 2020/2021 heating season.
