Electrical networks in the rural areas are to be reconstructed by Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies). Reconstruction activities will cover full replacement of a 0.4 kV overhead transmission line, with the length of 9 kilometers. Power engineers will install five state-of-the-art transformer substations. Obsolete wooden supports will be replaced for 300 reinforced concrete supports, and bare wires will be replaced for self-carrying insulated wires. “This line was commissioned in 1976. At the moment, electric network facilities in Kiryushkino settlement are heavily depreciated and out of date,” commented Vladimir Myachin, Director of the North Production Department of Orenburgenergo. Reconstruction operations in this settlement will include replacement of supports and wires and installation of state-of-the-art relay protection and automation devices and lightning protection equipment. Focused on reliability of power supply, we are committed to carry out construction operations in full compliance with the applicable rules and regulations”. Newly installed equipment will contribute to increased electricity output and reduced operating expenses. The total cost of the project will be over 16 million rubles.
