Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), summarized results of the repair program for 7 months of 2017.All planned actions are being performed in line with the schedule. From January to July, Penza power engineers repaired 331.1 km of 35–110 kV power transmission lines and 2,736.8 km of 0.4–10 kV lines. In the course of the repairs, 59.2 km of cables, 9,213 insulators and 1,299 supports were replaced on transmission lines of different voltage. Repairs covered 43 substations of 35–10 kV, 203 power transformers of 35–110 kV, 89 breakers and circuit breakers of 35–110 kV, 290 disconnectors of 35–110 kV, 432 switches of 6–110 kV and 681 package transformer substations of 6–10/0.4 kV.2 high-voltage inputs of 35–110 kV were replaced. Much effort is put in clearing and widening ROW corridors. In total, under the Investment Program, 278.5 ha of ROW corridors were cleared and 287 ha were widened. Proper implementation of the repair program is a key element of ensuring reliable performance of power grids and stable power supply during the autumn-winter season 2017/2018 in the Penza region.
