For the first seven months of the current year, specialists of Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), repaired 258.9 km of 0.4–10 kV overhead power transmission lines and 106.1 km of 35–110 kV overhead power transmission lines. During the repair campaign of the same period the electricians repaired 274 6/10/0.4 kV transformer substations. Besides, Chuvashenegro branch employees performed an overhaul at fourteen 110/35/6-10 kV substations. Scheduled repair operations were successfully completed at 35–110 kV substations including repair of 178 switches of 6–110 kV, 66 insulating and short-circuiting switches, and 115 disconnecting switches, plus replacement of 228 stick-pedestal insulators. The repair operations are carried out to ensure appropriate safety of electrical equipment, provision of uninterrupted power supply for consumers in the Chuvash Republic, and prevention of faults and failures of electrical installations. The student apprenticeship season Energostart-2017 closes on August 15. Experts of Orenburgenergo will select the best brigade and best apprentices based on the results of their work during the season.
