Chuvashenergo continues its activities to implement the repair program

In Q1 of this year specialists of Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), completed repairs at seven 10 kV distribution stations, ten 10/0.4 kV backup transformers, 0.27 km of 0.4 kV overhead transmission lines, and six 110 kV power transformers. They also cleared power transmission line corridors from trees and scrubs on the area covering almost 9 ha.

 In accordance with the maintenance schedule, the bulk activities will be carried out in spring and summer, during the period of large-scale repair activities. All in all, in 2016 specialists of Chuvashenergo branch plan to repair 832.8 km of power transmission lines of all voltage classes, 455 10/6/0.4 kV transformer substations, and to perform capital repairs at 22 110/35/10/6 kV substations. Moreover, a provision is made for clearing of power transmission line routes from trees and scrubs on the area covering 45.9 ha.

Repair operations are aimed to ensure appropriate safety of electrical equipment, provide uninterrupted power supply for consumers in the Chuvash Republic, and prevent faults and failures at electrical installations. Power engineers will proceed with large-scale repair operations in May of the current year.
