Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), will fully replace 0.4 kV electric networks in the Khabarnoe settlement located several kilometers away from Novotroitsk. Power sector specialists will install 8 state-of-the-art transformer substations. Wooden poles will be replaced with 319 reinforced concrete poles, and the bare wire will be replaced with self-supporting insulated wire. Insulated wire will be used for cable entry systems in private houses for higher security of residents of the settlement. "Electric network facilities located in this settlement were exposed to a heavy physical wear and obsolescence," said Vladimir Kirpichnikov, Director of Orenburenergo's Eastern Production Department. "We will replace poles and wire and install state-of-the-art relay protection and automation devices and lightning protection equipment in the settlement. All works will be performed in compliance with the applicable standards and regulations." This reconstruction campaign will significantly improve reliability of power supplies to consumers. The new equipment will decrease the operational costs. The reconstruction of the electric networks will be completed by the end of 2015.
