Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, JSC), embarked on the inspection of preparedness of the equipment for operation during the forthcoming winter season. All production facilities of the grid company opened the doors to technical commissions consisting of Orenburgenergo's specialists and inspectors of state supervisory agencies. The program of the intermediate inspection stage implies detection and elimination of any potential defects of repaired equipment before winter comes. Orenburgenergo completed overhaul and repair of 715 kilometers of power transmission lines of all voltage classes, 58 substations with the voltage of 35-110 kV, 763 distribution and transformer points of 6-10 kV. Prior to the autumn and winter season, power sector professionals plan to repair another 726 kilometers of power transmission lines, 935 substations and distribution points of all voltage classes. In 2015, the cost of Orenburgenergo's repair campaign will total 340 million rubles. Final inspection of preparedness of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, for the autumn and winter season will be launched in September. In case of positive inspection results, certificates confirming preparedness for operations under peak load conditions during the forthcoming winter-autumn period will be issued for electric grid companies.
