Russian Fund of Federal Property sells its block of stock of interregional communication company of Povolzhie - OJSC “VolgaTelecom”, at the auction the results of which will be known on October 22, 2004.  Thus, the process of privatization of OJSC “VolgaTelecom” shares will be finished by the sale of the specified block of stock.

The size of the block of stock offered for sale is 0,6% of the charter capital, it comprises 19 691 06 ordinary registered paperless shares (state registration number: 1-01-00137? of November 14, 2003) with total face value of 9 845 530 rubles.  The initial price of shares is 199 580 000 rubles.

The shares will be sold in the form of auction, which will be open in respect of participants’ structure and closed in respect of the way of submission of bids for the property.
