Moscow, Russian Federation – Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (“MTS” – NYSE: MBT), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, announces that the Company has secured a credit facility worth 300 million euros.

The credit facility is negotiated with Gazprombank and expires in 2.5 years.

Funds from the credit will be used for general corporate needs.
