On Monday, August 28, the Board of Directors of OAO Mosenergo approved conclusion of a contract with OAO ZIOMAR Engineering Company for the delivery of a process equipment system, including a steam turbine, and for supplying related services for a PGU-450-T steam-gas power-generating unit at Cogeneration Plant-27 (TETs-27). Commissioning of the power-generating unit is planned in the 4th quarter of 2007.
OAO Mosenergo began implementing a Program of development and technical reequipment of Moscow Region’s power network with the construction of a PGU-450-T steam-gas power-generating unit at TETs-27. Under the Program, two PGU-450-T steam-gas power-generating units will be put into operation at TETs-27 by 2009. The plant’s total capacity in 2009 will be 1060 MW of electric power and 2670 Gcal/h of thermal power.
The Board of Directors also approved a contract with OAO EES Engineering Center for a Preproject Study of options for expanding TETs-27 based on gas turbine equipment and steam-gas units.
In addition, the Board of Directors took note a report on OAO Mosenergo’s readiness to operate on the New Electricity and Heat Wholesale Market (NOREM).
