Moscow, December, 2 2004. CenterTelecom enhanced board meeting with the participation of the company’s General Director Ruben Amaryan, members of the Board and Deputy General Directors - Directors of the branches was held in Smolensk.
At the meeting the results of CenterTelecom operations during 9 months of the current year, the Y 2004 preliminary results throughout the company and in separate branches as well as long-term development plans for the upcoming 2005 were discussed.
During the visit of CenterTelecom delegation to Smolensk a meeting of the company’s General Director Ruben Amaryan with the Governor of Smolensk region Victor Maslov took place. At the meeting the company’s plans for the development and improvement of Smolensk region telecommunications infrastructure, the progress of Electronic Russia Federal Program, and the issues of providing telephone communications in remote populated areas and installations of phones to WW2 veterans and disabled veterans timed for the 60th anniversary of the Victory were discussed.
While commenting on the meeting results, Victor Maslov pointed out that during two years since the moment of the Inter-regional company was founded, CenterTelecom proved to be a reliable partner distinguished by high professionalism and capability of carrying out large-scale innovational programs and social projects aimed at the improvement of quality of life of the citizens of the region. "I am sure, that together with this company we will manage to address a lot of serious problems in the IT and communications sphere of Smolensk region," – pointed out the governor.
