LUKOIL has summed up the results of its bidding procedure for contractors to run construction projects as part of the second stage at Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea. OAO Globalstroy-Engineering will be responsible for the development of engineering documentation, purchase of equipment and materials, construction and commissioning and the start-up of ice-resistant stationary platform No. 2 (IRP-2). The IRP-2 drilling complex will be used to drill a pad consisting of 15 directional wells with horizontal borehole completion, including nine production wells and six injectors. The Astrakhan OAO Krasnye Barrikady shipyard will be responsible for the development of engineering documentation, purchase of equipment and materials, construction and commissioning and start-up of living quarters module platform No. 2 and a catwalk bridge connecting LQP-2 and IRP-2. The LQP-2 will accommodate 55 people and include a helicopter pad. The IRP-2 will be connected to the riser block, mounted during the first construction stage at Vladmir Filanovsky field, via a 6-km multiphase subsea pipeline. IRP-2 and LQP-2 are to be commissioned in the autumn of 2016.
