«Southern Telecommunications Company» PJSC launches the construction of a fiber-optic line «Adler – Krasnaya Polyana - Laura - "Alpika-service". This FOL will allow to provide the quickly developing mountain - sea resort of the international level "Krasnaya Polyana" with the advanced telecommunication services.

To date "UTK" PJSC has laid 2.7 km of  fiber-optic cable in the new tunnel of the federal highway Adler – Krasnaya Polyana. Total length of the FOL will make 60 km.

In 2005 "UTK" PJSC will invest a total of RUR 4.7 million in construction of the FOL «Adler – Krasnaya Polyana - Laura - "Alpika-service". The project valued at total of RUR 42.5 million is expected to be completed in 2006. The Company plans to receive profit over RUR 15 million during the first year of the FOL’s operation.  The construction is expected to be repaid in 3 years.

Krasnaya Polyana has become today a project of national importance. The fulfillment of its general development plan will allow the city of Sochi to join the five largest mountain - sea world resorts and will enable Russia to claim to holding winter Olympic games here.
