The Group of companies of KAMAZ Inc. surpasses last year’s temps of production and marketing of major activities by over than 23%, and by 36% of new products.

In August KAMAZ Inc. and its subsidiary delivered to customers about 3,4 billion rubles worth products, including 2 776 trucks (including export of 643 units) and 3 500 passenger cars, 3 498 engines and power units, 507,4 million rubles worth spare parts, and 275,7million rubles worth products of diversification.

In general, within 8 months of 2004, there was manufactured and sold products to 22,921 billion rubles. It is by 23% more vs. the same period of 2003. KAMAZ Inc.’s customers were delivered 19 007 trucks (by 28,2% more vs. 2003), 27 140 passenger cars (+6,0%), 24 253 engines and power units (+26%), spare parts valued 3,854 billion rubles (+11,2%) and diversification products valued 2,108 billion rubles (+6,1%). There were assembled 531 buses, 3 547 trailers, 2 208 semitrailers and 268 units of other kind of trailers in cooperation with KAMAZ subsidiaries in Neftekamsk and Stavropol. On the domestic market there were sold 15 136 trucks and 3 491 units were exported. 1 415 vehicles were leased, including 896 trucks, 154 buses and 365 trailers.

Peculiarity of work of KAMAZ within last months is a gradual popularity and, as consequence, assembly growth of trucks of new modification with improved customers’ properties and environmental characteristics. Thus, according to customers’ order there were assembled 758 trucks powered with EURO-2 engines.
