Gazprom delegation led by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee continues its business trip throughout Eastern Siberia and the Far East.
Today, in the city of Vladivostok, Alexander Ananenkov and Sergey Darkin, Governor of the Primorsky Krai have signed an Accord on gasification of the region.
The Accord was signed for promoting the Agreement of cooperation between the Primorsky Krai Administration and Gazprom, and contemplates developing and approving the following documents that foster further development of Primorsky gasification systems:
- an Investment Project of Gasification;
- a Regional Energy Saving Program;
- a Program for the conversion of motor transport and agricultural equipment to CNG & LNG.
The general developer of the documents will be identified on a contest basis.
“The main aspect of Gazprom arrival to the Primorsky Krai will be the construction of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas system, and regional Administration will participate in project implementation. Said gas transportation system will play the main role for supplying natural gas to the regional consumers”, said Sergey Darkin.
“The Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas system construction is the first stage of the Eastern Program implementation. This main line will be an important element for developing the integrated gas supply system in Eastern Russia. Russian consumers will receive priority gas and the Sakhalin fields will be a resource base”, said Alexander Ananenkov.
Also today Gazprom’s delegation visited Dalzavod Shipbuilding Company. Gazprom’s specialists had a look at equipment, technologies, Dalzavod product line. Alexander Ananenkov held a meeting with the top management of the Company.

The Agreement on cooperation between Gazprom and the Primorsky Krai Administration was signed on December 1, 2005. The document signed specifies the following major cooperation directions:
- Draft programs for hydrocarbon field exploration, development;
- Pipeline, gas processing and gasification facilities construction draft program development and implementation;
- Transport infrastructure facilities development for plant, transloading and storage, gas transportation and gas products transportation by sea;
- Utilization of CNG and LNG as motor fuel.
At present natural gas deliveries to the Primorsky Krai are not carried out. Trunk lines, branch pipelines and gas distribution networks do not exist in the region.
