Emphasis was put inter alia on the fact that the work plans must secure the commissioning of gas production and transportation capacity in 2016.

Special attention was paid to the need of conserving petroleum associated gas resources when developing Yakutia’s oil and gas reserves. This required broader interaction of all oil and gas companies operating in the Republic.

“Gazprom views the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) as a most crucial partner as part of the Eastern Gas Program. The Yakutsk gas production center development will play a key role for meeting gas industry challenges in eastern Russia,” stressed Alexander Ananenkov.

“Gazprom’s presence in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) implies for us further steady socioeconomic development of the region. We are open for cooperation,” said Vyacheslav Shtyrov.
