Gazprom’s Regional Policy Commission has convened on a session chaired by Alexander Ryazanov, Commission’s Head and Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee.

The session reviewed measures aimed at optimizing interaction between Gazprom and regional authorities while resolving subsurface use issues. In particular, the parties pointed to the need of improving land right-of-way approval methodologies both at the federal and regional levels.

The Commission also addressed the issue of Gazprom’s involvement in activities aiming to improve the RF energy saving legislation.

The Commission entrusted Gazprom’s core business units with preparing proposals on the conception of a new Draft Law on the Modification of the Federal Energy Saving Law. The conception had been prepared by Russia’s Industry & Energy Ministry by order of the RF Government.
