Today at Gazprom headquarters Alexey Miller, Chairman, Gazprom Management Committee, held a working meeting with Eduard Rossel, Governor, Sverdlovskaya oblast.
The parties discussed progress in drafting a new Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the administration of Sverdlovskaya oblast.

Gas supplies in Sverdlovskaya oblast is provided by ITERA Holding group of companies. In 2002-2004, annual natural gas supplies to the oblast’s consumers averaged 16-17 bcm.
As of October 1, 2005, Sverdlovskaya oblast’s gasification level was 55%, including 62% in cities and townships, and 8.5% in rural areas. Corresponding average levels for Russia are 52.7%, 60.2% and 33.1%.
In 2001-2005, the amount of Sverdlovskaya oblast’s consumers’ past dew payments for gas supplied decreased from almost RUR3.5 billion to RUR106 million.
The Cooperation agreement between the government of Sverdlovskaya oblast and Gazprom was signed in January 1997. The agreement expired in 2002.
