Moscow, 13 March 2008. In connection with investors' requests, RAO "UES of Russia" decided to extend the deadline for receipt of bids for the "government stake" shares in WGC-1 owned by RAO UES to mid-April 2008. The exact closing date for submission of bids will be determined in the very near future. The dates for the additional share issue of WGC-1 will by synchronized with the sale of the stake in the company held by RAO UES.
