Rosseti ensured a reliable power supply for more than 35,000 polling stations on the National Voting Day in the regions of the Russian Federation.

In the period from September 13 – 15 2014, the power network companies of the Rosseti Group of companies worked in a special mode. There were 1,217 mobile teams and 803 mobile backup sources of electricity supply with a capacity of more than 30 kW on stand-by for rapid response.

On the eve of the National Voting Day, Rosseti conducted a comprehensive emergency inspection of electric grid facilities, electricity supplies to the Election Commission, polling stations, communication lines, and services facilitating the election process. Federal and regional authorities, in preparation for the elections, accorded assistance to the energy sector workers.

On September 14, 2014 over 6,000 elections took place in 84 regions of the Russian Federation at more than 64 thousand polling stations.
