Gazpromís Headquarters today hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Gazpromís Management Committee Chairman and Vladimir Kulakov, Governor of the Voronezh Region.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the Agreement and Protocol for Cooperation between Gazprom and the Voronezh Region, highly appreciating joint gas supply businesses in the Region and pointing to the construction of 1,170-km-long gas networks and the 22 thou increase in gas-fired apartments and households. Alexey Miller underscored that Gazprom would keep on building gas distribution grids and gas laterals in the Voronezh Region.
Gazprom and the authorities of the Voronezh Region entered into a 5-year Cooperation Agreement in October 2003.
Last year, Gazprom provided the Voronezh Regionís consumers with over 4.8 bcm of gas, with roughly the same amount slated for 2005.
The gas supply infrastructure of the Voronezh Region is developed by over 64% of maximum demand, including by over 82%, in cities, towns and urban settlements and over 31%, in rural area. The identical Russia-averaged parameters account for 53%, 60% and 34.7%, respectively.
As of 1 January 2005, gas equipment was installed at some 640 thou apartments and households of the Voronezh Region. In accordance with the 2004 Program on gas deliveries throughout the Russian Federation, Gazprom channeled more than RUR265.6 mln to construct gas supply infrastructure in the Region, with over RUR251 mln planned to be invested under the 2005 Investment Program.
