The new system enables Rostelecom to enjoy optimized international call routing, thus keeping a competitive edge. Being an advanced system for routing and trading international voice traffic, Carrier Cockpit™ features powerful routing optimization capabilities, including automatic implementation of routing changes in the most optimal way based on such criteria as tariffs and rates, free capacity, service quality etc. As a result, the Company maximizes its opportunities to respond market changes and meet partners and customers’ requirements. Rostelecom’s subscriber, calling to either Paris or Sydney, can be sure that international telecom connections will be of high quality.

Ascade, one of the leading telecom software company, developed its Carrier Cockpit™ Business Operations System together with the largest international carriers using state-of-the-art technologies. To implement the system at Rostelecom, Ascade’s partner in the project (systems integrator) became Compulink.
