Moscow, 28 February 2005. The Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" resolved to appoint Director General of OAO "Lenenergo" Andrey Likhachev as General Director of OAO "TGC-1", and Director General of OAO "Tulenergo" Gennady Kochetkov as General Director of OAO "TGC-4".

Andrey Likhachev was born in 1965 in the city of Grozny. In 1987, he graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, where he studied applied mathematics. In early 1990s, he held a number of official positions in the state institutions of St.-Petersburg. In 1995 to 1997, he served as the Head of Administration in the Petrodvortsovy District of St.-Petersburg, and in 1997-1998 he was in charge of the Municipal Property Management Committee of St.-Petersburg. In 1998-1999 he served as Vice Governor of St.-Petersburg. He was appointed Director General of OAO "Lenenergo" in 1999.

Until the unbundling process is completed at OAO "Lenenergo" and OAO "TGC-1" starts operations, Andrey Likhachev will hold the positions of Director General at OAO "Lenenergo" and Director General of OAO "TGC-1".

Gennady Kochetkov was born in 1951 in the city of Yefremov, Tula Region. In 1978, he graduated from the All-Union Correspondence Polytechnic Institute where he specialized in automation and telemechanics. In 1970-1990, he worked at some energy facilities in Tula Region. In 1992-1998, he held executive positions at the generation facilities of OAO "Tulenergo". He was appointed Director General of OAO "Tulenergo" in 1998.
