Moscow, 17 March 2006. RAO "UES of Russia" has received a diploma for relevance of its exposition at the Second All-Russia Forum and Exhibition "State Order 2006" organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The Company's booth contained information on the information and e-trading system "Goods, Services and Technology Markets for Electricity Industry" – B2B-Energo".* The Exhibition visitors and participants had a chance to participate in real-time e-trading and appreciate the advantages offered by the system.
Also, a Conference "System for Placement of State and Municipal Orders in the Russian Federation in a New Regulatory Environment" was held as part of the Forum and Exhibition "State Order 2006". Alexei Romanov, head of the Directorate for organization and methodology of competitive procurement and standardization of RAO "UES of Russia", made a presentation at the Conference on the organization of the Company's procurement activities.

* The Information and e-Trading System "Goods, Services and Technology Markets for Electricity Industry - B2B-Energo" is used by RAO UES entities in their procurement activities. The overall trading volume in the B2B-energo has exceeded RUB31.1 billion since the system's launch. Over the period, over 4,150 auctions and tenders have been announced on the marketplace, and over 12,400 bids and offers have been made.
Today, the B2B-Energo has over 4,770 users. Among them are the major vendors of equipment and technologies for the electricity industry, such as OAO "Power Machines", OAO "ENERGOMASH", ZAO "Krasny Kotelshchik", FGUP "Technopromexport", and OOO "Siemens". Entities from 24 countries are active on the B2B-Energo marketplace.
