KAMAZ Inc. as a training aid for institutes of higher education

On February 28 and March 1 representatives of institutes of higher education from Moscow, Orenburg, Lipetsk and other regions of Russia arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Both parties – KAMAZ and institutes – are interested in cooperation. This meeting gives an opportunity to establish connection between process of manufacture and theory in institutes of higher education.

Currently vehicle market lacks specialists in the field of trucks servicing. KAMAZ Inc. - the largest Russian vehicle manufacturer – is in need of specialists for KAMAZ truck servicing.

KAMAZ Inc. is the owner of over 100 Service centers in Russia, which assemble special vehicles on the basis of KAMAZ chassis. That is why it has influence on the production of many Russian regions.

A good reason for extending cooperation is the fact that one can study diverse types of modern KAMAZ vehicles including buses and trailers.

Besides, KAMAZ Inc. is now actively introducing the advanced technologies of vehicle building: the Company powers vehicles with Euro-2 engine and has already certified Euro-3 power unit. So the students are given a chance to study modernized engine versions instead of obsolete Euro-0.

And finally KAMAZ Inc. works with the international market leaders producing vehicle spare parts and units. These are «Cummins», «Zahnradfabrik», «Bosch».

The meeting resulted in decision of the Company’s top managers to invite 1,500 students this year.
