The Ulyanovsk Grids branch of Rosseti Volga (a brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) continues to implement measures aimed at improving the reliability of power supply to consumers in the region.
Currently, repair work is being carried out at substations (SS) of Novaya Maina 110/35/10 kV and Mullovka 110/10 kV. At the Novaya Maina substation, overhaul of circuit breakers and disconnectors, repair of outdoor switchgears (OS), separators and power transformers has already been carried out. At the Mullovka substation, power engineers also repaired the power transformer and disconnectors, busbar sections and switchgear cubicles. The plans include overhaul of ground electrodes, repair of high-frequency minelayers, coupling capacitors, short-circuits and current transformers.
In addition, a complete audit of the external and internal lighting of the substations will be carried out, the anti-corrosion coating of equipment and metal structures will be restored, and the fences will be repaired. Repair work at the substations will be completed before the start of the autumn-winter period.
The cost of all works will be more than 2.5 million rubles. In total, the Novaya Maina and Mullovka substations provide power supply to 16 settlements in the Melekessky District (more than 7,500 consumers), a number of agricultural enterprises, including the APC named after Lenin and Melekesskoye LLC (leguminous crops), as well as paper production by Volga Boom Prom LLC. The repair program of the Ulyanovsk Grids branch is aimed at increasing the reliability of the power grid complex in the Ulyanovsk Region.
