On May 21 the Sverdlovsk thermal power station (JSC «TGC-9», Ekaterinburgski branch ) begins hydraulic tests of thermal networks of «Gradmash» area

On May 21 power men will check up thermal networks of one of the largest areas of Ekaterinburg - «Gradmash» « on durability ». «Gradmash» thermal networks are divided into two network sites. The first receives water from Sredneuralskaya state district power station and its hydraulic tests (hydraulic-pressure test) will be carried out according to the schedule (the first stage - May 27,28). The second site "was fed" from Sverdlovsk thermal power station. Its hydraulic tests are planned for May 21.


By 9 o'clock in the morning Sverdlovsk thermal power station experts made «cooling» of heat system to temperature of 40 degrees and under a command of Sverdlovsk thermal networks dispatcher with the help of the network pump they lifted pressure in a heating system up to test - 12,5 atm.


For the period of hydraulic tests consumers’ hot water supply will be switched-off. But the majority of consumers will not notice it, as hot water will be switched on again in this district in the evening.


Summer repair campaign is a necessary process of heating mains preparation to work in a forthcoming cold season. Reliable and uninterrupted city power supply depends on its professional and operative carrying out during the autumn-winter period.
