Led by Alexey Miller, the Company’s Management Committee Chairman, Gazprom’s delegation has paid today a working visit to Turkmenistan.

At a meeting between Alexey Miller and Saparmurat Niyazov, President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, the parties addressed matters of bilateral cooperation in the gas sector, summing up operating results over 2005 and looking into joint businesses in 2006 and onwards. A focus was placed on the amount and price of Turkmen gas supply to Russia, with a decision adopted to continue discussions until the year-end.

Alexey Miller and Saparmurat Niyazov underscored that further cooperation between Gazprom and Turkmenistan would hinge on the win/win principles and accords achieved earlier.
