Gazprom has elected Vladimir Subbotin as Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Samara.

Vladimir Subbotin was born in 1976 in the Tyumen Oblast. In 1999 he graduated from Urals State Technical University, majoring in Power Engineering.

Between 1999 and 2003 – technological compressor operator, gas infrastructure maintenance engineer at the Ochyor Line Pipe Operation Center, Permtransgaz.

Between 2003 and 2010 – Deputy Head, Head of a gas compressor station at the Prioksky Line Pipe Operation Center, Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod (former Volgotransgaz).

Between 2010 and 2012 – Director of the Sechyonovskoye Line Pipe Operation Center, branch company of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod.

Oleg Stepanenko, former head of Gazprom Transgaz Samara, was relieved of his post due to a job transfer.
