Victor Mishkin appointed Director of Severo-Zapadnaya TETs Branch of INTER RAO UES

Saint Petersburg, 2 July 2008. V.A. Mishkin was appointed Head of Severo-Zapadnaya TETs Branch of OJSC INTER RAO UES. The decision on his appointment was made at the meeting of the Management Board of OJSC INTER RAO UES held on June 16, 2008. On June 30, 2008 Victor Mishkin commenced to perform his duties at Severo-Zapadnaya TETs.

Victor Mishkin’s Biography

Victor Alexeevich Mishkin was born August 5, 1958 in the village of Staraya Otrada, Kumertau District of Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

In 1986 he graduated from Ivanov Energy Institute. Upon graduation he was shift master of electric shop, senior operations engineer at Kumertau Heat and Power Plant.

1991-1995 – Head of Department for isolation, surge voltage protection and high voltage equipment testing, deputy chief engineer at Kumertau electric grids of Bashkirenergo;

1995 - 1997 – Chief engineer of Ishimbaysky electric grids of Bashkirenergo;

1997 - 2006 - Head of IZPI department, head of electric grids management division, Samara Region of Volzhskaya IDC;

09.2006 – 27.06.2008 – Chief Engineer and first deputy director of Ivanovskie PGU branch of OJSC INTER RAO UES.

 

Reference:

Severo-Zapadnaya TETs is the first Russian power plant with a steam-gas binary cycle. The power plant is located in Primorsky District of Saint Petersburg, the second largest Russian city located on the coast of Gulf of Finland, near the Russia-Finland border.

The pilot launch of the first, 450-MW-generating unit of the power plant was successfully made in December 2000. Then the power plant construction continued and in November 2006 the second generating unit of the same 450 MW capacity was commissioned. Besides, since October 2006 Severo-Zapadnaya TETs has been operating in the heat extraction mode.

On May 1, 2008 OJSC Severo-Zapadnaya TETs joined OJSC INTER RAO UES as a branch. The power plant retained its name and became an official branch of OJSC INTER RAO UES under the name of Severo-Zapadnaya TETs.
