On April 8, 2002, the company summarized the results of the voting on the agenda of the company’s EGM. The extraordinary general shareholder meeting was held through absentee voting.
The right to participate in the voting required ballots to arrive to the company headquarters no later than April 6. There was only one issue on the agenda— approval of the new wording of the Company’s Articles.
The result of AO MOSENERGO’s general meeting of shareholders was to approve the new wording of the Company’s Articles by a 96.18% majority, which is in line with the Federal Law “On Joint-Stock Companies” which requires a three-quarter majority of holders of voting shares present at the general shareholder meeting.
