Moscow. 3 June 2005. Members of the Audit Committee under the Board of Directors of RAO "UES of Russia" will visit the United States on 5-9 June 2005. During their stay in the USA, the Committee members will hold a series of meetings with the management of the world's major energy companies, such as AES, Pecco Holdings, Consolidated Edison, Inc., and members of the US investment community.

The purpose of the visit is to study the experience in organizing the operation of the North-American power markets, and to gain knowledge of the work of the Federal Energy Regulation Commission, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
