Moscow, 3 July 2006. On July 1st, 13 new companies spun off from OAO "Komienergo", OAO "Kubanenergo", OAO "Kuzbassenergo", and OAO "Kurganenergo" according to the basic restructuring plan are expected to complete their official registration:

OAO "Komienergo":

• OAO "Komi Regional Generation Company",
• OAO "Komi Energy Retail Company",
• OAO "Trunk Electricity Grid of the Komi Republic",

OAO "Kubanenergo":

• OAO "Kuban Generation Company",
• OAO "Kuban Energy Retail Company",

OAO "Kuzbassenergo":

• OAO "Zapadno-Sibirskaya CHPP",
• OAO Yuzho-Kuzbasskaya TPP",
• OAO "Kuzbassenergo - Regional Electricity Grid Company",
• OAO "Kuzbass Energy Retail Company",
• OAO "Kuzbassenergo Trunk Electricity Grids",

OAO "Kurganenergo":

• OAO "Kurgan Generation Company",
• OAO "Kurgan Energy Retail Company",
• OAO "Kurgan Trunk Grid Company".

Thus, the process has been completed to restructure the regional energos according to the basic restructuring plan. To date, the regulator granted official registration to 251 new companies spun off from 60 regional energos. Of these, 54 regional energos have fully completed the functional unbundling process.
