Gazprom’s Management Committee endorses List Of Top Priority Facilities to be included in 2005 capital construction schedule

At its regular session Gazprom’s Management Committee has endorsed a List of Top Priority Facilities identified as capital construction targets over 2005 and heard a report on the construction progress.

The Management Committee emphasized that the construction of some facilities was falling behind the schedule. To this end, Gazprom’s core business units were entrusted with stepping up exhaustive measures aiming to timely obtain infrastructure construction and land registration permissions and to avoid delays in the supply of goods to facilities under commissioning.

Under Gazprom’s 2005 Draft investment program, the capital investment ceiling totals RUR 108 bln, as stipulated in the approved List of Top Priority Facilities.

In the field drilling sector, Gazprom has scheduled the following activities:

  • drilling 232 wells;
  • drilling a total of 296.62 thou km.

In the gas extraction sector:

  • bringing on-line booster stations at the Vyngayakhinskoye and Orenburgskoye fields, with 64 and 60 MW in overall capacity, respectively;
  • debottlenecking booster stations at the Yamsoveyskoye field;
  • launching 241 exploration gas wells.

In the gas transmission sector:

  • expanding the Urengoy gas transmission hub;
  • constructing the Northern Tyumen Region (NTR) – Torzhok gas main infrastructure;
  • building the Krupskaya, Slonimskaya, Minskaya & Orshanskaya and Rzhevskaya & Kholm-Zhirkovskaya compressor stations at the Belarus and Russian sections, respectively, of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline;
  • constructing the Pochinki-Izobilnoye-North Stavropol UGS facility gas pipeline;
  • constructing the Volokolamskaya compressor station at the Tula-Torzhok gas trunk line;
  • constructing a 52-km-long transmission part of the Kasimov UGS facility – Voskresensk compressor station gas main.

In pursuance of the Plan on the synchronized commissioning of top priority gas transmission capacities for the purpose of effecting gas exports between 2002 and 2006, Tyumentransgaz and Severgazprom’s infrastructure is also identified as key target of the capital construction projections.
