PJSC RusHydro (ticker symbol: MOEX, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY)
announces that the Company's Board of Directors held a meeting on
April 14, 2021.
The Board of Directors approved the report on
execution of PJSC RusHydro’s business plan for 2020 including the
report on execution of investment program for as well as
comprehensive rehabilitation and modernization program.
PJSC RusHydro’s RAS EBITDA for 2020 increased by
18% as compared with 2019 and amounted to RUB 92.3 bn, while net
profit came in at RUB 35.96 bn.
Financing of PJSC RusHydro’s investment program
and controlled companies engaged in construction of the Company’s
facilities amounted to RUB 31.7 bn and RUB 15.8 bn respectively.
In 2020, 25 MW have been commissioned following
rerating of equipment in the scope of comprehensive modernization
program of PJSC RusHydro’s facilities.
Total electricity production in 2019 exceeded plan
by 12.2% and reached an all-time high record of 97.2 GWh. The
increase came on the back of effective water regime planning amidst
increased water inflows to the HPPs on the Volga-Kama cascade, in
Siberia and in the Far East, modernization of existing facilities and
increase in electricity demand following consumption growth in the
Far Eastern Federal District.

The Board of Directors approved the report on
execution of RusHydro Group’s consolidated business plan for 2020
including the report on execution of consolidated investment program.
The Group’s IFRS EBITDA increased by 23.3% in
2020 and reached an all-time historic high of RUB 120.3 bn, its net
profit reached a record high of RUB 46.6 bn.
In 2020, the Group has inaugurated 126 MW and 200
GCal/h CHPP in Sovetskaya Gavan in the Khabarovsk region and three
small HPPs in the Northern Caucasus under the DPM for renewables
agreement: 10 MW Verkhnebalkarskaya, 5.6 MW Ust-Dzhegutinskaya and
5.25 MW Barsuchkovskaya small HPPs.
Over 17.6 thousand consumers with total capacity
of 616 MW have been connected to grids including major consumers such
as JSC Polyus Magadan, LLC Oil Extracting Plant Amurskiy and LLC
Maloruminskiy mine.

execution of KPIs for 2020.

The Board of Directors took into consideration the
information on improvement of reliability of electricity supply to
consumers and liquidation of emergencies in electric grid facilities
the Far Eastern Federal District. PJSC RusHydro is taking measures to
increase the reliability of electricity supply to the consumers in
the Far East.
Following liquidation of consequences of the
inclement weather conditions in 2020 in Primorsky Krai, the Company
put together the Program for modernization and reconstruction of
electric grids in the Primorsky Krai (MIREK) including reconstruction
of 35-110kV grids and modernization of equipment. MIREK pays extra
attention to 4 kV, 6 kV and 10 kV distribution facilities.
In the course of modernization and reconstruction
of distribution grids, the reliability of electricity supply to
consumers in Partizanskiy, Nadezhdenskiy, Shkotovskiy, Khasanskiy,
Artemovskiy and Pervomayskiy districts of Vladivostok as well as in
Bolshoi Kamen’ and Fokino will improve significantly. The
above-mentioned places suffered the most during the freezing rain in
2020.
For consumers in the Sakhalin, a modernization
program of sustainable development of the electric grids of the
Sakhalin region (POUREK) in under way as well. Additional
comprehensive programs with focus on accident decrease and
improvement of reliability of electricity supply for execution in
2021-2025 are in place for other controlled entities in the Far East.

The Board of Directors approved the report on
execution of the Program of innovation development of RusHydro Group
for 2020. Financing of the program including R&D activities
amounted to RUB 3 bn in 2020. The Group reviewed 18 innovative
proposals via “single window” system and eight were selected for
possible inclusion into the Group’s R&D program.
RusHydro has carried out procurement procedures
for the purchase of innovative technological products for RUB 1,214
mn, out of which RUB 595 mn were purchased from small and medium
sized businesses. RusHydro procured all innovative products from
local manufacturers.
Integrated KPI for innovation activity was
fulfilled by 98% with a target fulfillment rate of 85%.
In 2020, the Company brought online the following
facilities: Verkhnebalkarskaya small HPP (10MW), Ust-Dzhegutinskaya
small HPP (5.6 MW), Barsuchkovskaya small HPP (5.25 MW), hybrid
wind-diesel project in arctic village Tiski in Yakutia (3.9 MW) and a
unique hybrid-renewables project at Nizhne-Bureyskaya HPP (1.3 MW).
Moreover, RusHydro’s engineering center began operating at the
Russkiy Island and the network of electric vehicle charging stations
grew twofold expanding into Khabarovsk, Kamchatka and Sakhalin
regions.
