On July 4, 2005 Irina Prokofyeva was appointed the Deputy Director General of "UTK" PJSC for economics and finances. Prior to the appointment she was the Director of Internal Audit Department of “Svyazinvest” OJSC.

Earlier, the office of the Deputy Director General of "UTK" PJSC for economics and finances was held by Alexander Minakov. Now he is the  counselor of UTK’s General Director.

Irina Prokofyeva was born in 1968. In 1993 she graduated from the Saint Petersburg Technical University with a diploma of engineer-economist. In 2005 she graduated from the Moscow International Business School at the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics with a diploma of the master of business administration in the sphere of finances.

In 1993-1994 she worked as the deputy Chief Accountant in the Research Institute of computing facilities of the research and production association “Leninets”. In 1994—1998 she was the state chief tax officer in the Saint Petersburg State Taxation Administration. In 1998—2001 she held the office of a taxation specialist in “Telecominvest” OJSC. Then she joined “Svyazinvest” OJSC: in 2001-2003 she was the deputy Director of the Department for Internal Audit and Economic Analysis; in 2003-2005 — the Director of Internal Audit Department.
