According to the Power Facilities Renovation Plan of Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), street wooden supports are to be substituted with those of reinforced concrete and naked wires—with self-supporting insulated cables. The works will be carried out in the Old town and district 240.

Orsk production department informs that during the works the following streets will be disconnected from power supply: Alekseeva, Babelya, Voikova, Doronina, Ostrovskogo, Tsvillinga, Shmidta, Gomelskaya, Kraynyaya, Entuziastov, Zveroferma, Pribrezhnaya, Vyuzhnaya, Chekalina, Pochtovaya, Dombarovskoye Shosse, Lednikovaya, Dostoyevskogo, Bryanskaya, Respublikanskaya, Vysokovoltnaya, Dovatora, Elektrikov, Shelukhina, Mostovaya, Andreeva Lanes 1 and 3.

 "The works and scheduled disconnections are not to be carried out at simultaneously. The renovation will proceed according to the schedule. During the works we will have to stop power supply. For the sake of safety of the electricians working on the transmission lines and substations, those facilities must be disconnected,— says Petr Ryzhkov, Manager of Orsk production department. —We, in turn, will try to reduce inconvenience: all the works will be carried out during daylight hours in order to resume power supply by the evening".
