Electric Energy Transmission Departments, with active assistance on the part of security services, have organized work for identification of unscrupulous consumers.
IDGC of the North-West, JSC is recording reduction of the volume of detected unaccounted and non-contractual consumption following the results of the first half of the current year in both absolute and relative terms.

In January–June 2012 the volume of detected unaccounted consumption from IDGC of the North-West grid made 0.04% of the total amount of electric energy transmitted by the Company, non-contractual consumption equal to 0.047%. In the first half of the previous year the indicators values were 0.05% and 0.049% respectively.

In 2011, the volume of unaccounted and non-contractual consumption accordingly made approximately 0.06% and 0.05% of electric energy transmission from IDGC of the North-West, JSC grid. In terms of money, the volume of unaccounted consumption made 32,130 thousand RUR (less VAT) or 0.1% of the amount of proceeds.

Electric Energy Transmission Departments, with active assistance on the part of security services, have organized work for identification of unscrupulous consumers. According to the materials prepared by officers of IDGC of the North-West security divisions, in the current year 115 criminal cases have been initiated, 46 persons brought to administrative responsibility for non-contractual and unaccounted energy consumption.
