In October 2008 the OJSC NWT announced the winners of the 3rd Photo Competition entitled “The Family Album”, which had started in May this year. This time the competition coincided with the year of the family and included six nominations. On 1 September more than 500 pictures were uploaded to the internal news website and the users could vote for the winner in each category.

Today we present the photographers, whose pictures were awarded the highest marks by the users of the news website:

• "Family tradition”: Svetlana Bezrukova, technician, Service for Maintenance of Civil   Constructions of the Novgorod branch for the picture “We are Vasilisovna’s”.
• “Those kids, bless them": Olga Makarova, economist of the 1st grade, the Financial Services of the Karelia branch, for the picture "Those kids...».
• "A romantic story”: Tatiana Timoeva, engineer of the 1st grade, Centre for the Network Management, Data Network Management Group, the Karelia Branch, for the picture “The first love”;
• "An unusual adventure": Alexander Zezegov, head of the Logistics department, the Komi branch, for the picture "Captain, we are going North-West!”
• “Pets”: Sergey Petryashov, senior software engineer, the Vologda branch, for the picture “Ah, I am a rabbit cat!".
• "Would you dare?!": Kira Semenova, the senior analysts, Budget Service, Economics and Finance, the Murmansk branch for the picture "Sweet dreams".

The independent jury also awarded a special prize and a title “For seeing and capturing the beauty" to Natalia Romanova, the analysts of the 1st grade, Enterprise Management Software development and implementation, for a series of amazing artistic photos “Bride’s dream", "Droplets”, “Iris curves”.

On 1 November 2008 all winners were invited to St.-Petersburg to attend the anniversary reception, where they were awarded diplomas and presents: digital photo frames and cosy bed throws.
