ROSSETI

January 29, 2016

The Head of Rosseti discusses the import replacement program’s implementation in the electric grid complex with equipment manufacturers from Chuvashia

Oleg Budargin, Director General of PJSC Rosseti, met with equipment manufacturers from the Republic of Chuvashia. Anatoly Aksakov, a State Duma deputy from Chuvashia, and Vladimir Avrelkin, the minister for economic development of the Republic, also took part in the meeting.
Opening the meeting, Oleg Budargin emphasized that Rosseti greatly appreciates the efforts of Chuvashia directed not only at maintaining the manufacture of electrical equipment, but also its constant development, allowing it to achieve high world standards.
“The current difficult macroeconomic situation has required consolidation of efforts by all market players: power engineers, manufacturers, designers and builders. Only thus will it be possible to provide outrunning development of the infrastructure required for further social and economic development of the country”, the Rosseti Head added.
In their turn, representatives from Chuvashia mentioned that, according to the RF President’s appraisals, the Republic is one of the ten most innovative regions in the country, partly thanks to the manufacture of electrical equipment, and greatly appreciated the opportunity to develop cooperation with the biggest electric grid company in Europe.
During the event, representatives of Rosseti reminded their colleagues about high demands made of the products operated by the company’s subsidiaries. It’s no less important for the company to be sure of its partners’ ability to manufacture and supply ordered products in a timely manner fully and in the long-term.
The managers of industrial enterprises, presenting their products at the meeting, emphasized that the manufactured equipment is not inferior in quality and reliability to foreign competition, but at the same time, its cost is lower and it’s easier to operate. If long-term contracts are signed, they are ready to meet their obligations in full.
The parties agreed to continue discussions and meetings in the regular course of business.
