As part of the International Economic Forum held in St. Petersburg, Rosseti and Russia's largest provider of digital services and solutions Rostelecom signed a Memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing a partnership in the field of digitalization and improving the efficiency and quality of services.
The document was signed by Pavel Livinskiy, Rosseti CEO, and Mikhail Oseyevsky, Rostelecom President.
The document defines a wide range of areas of cooperation, including development of digital infrastructure and information security, introduction of common approaches to solving applied problems of digital transformation, as well as development of new technologies and joint platform solutions to improve the quality of services.
"Joint work on the development of infocommunication infrastructure will allow our companies to optimize the cost of creating and operating networks within the digital transformation of the electric grid complex," Pavel Livinskiy, head of the electric power holding, noted.
"Rostelecom has a long and successful experience of cooperation with Rosseti's enterprises". In partnership our company acts as a provider of integrated digital solutions, which is consistent with the current goals of Rostelecom defined by our new strategy," Mikhail Oseyevsky, Rostelecom President, said.
