Alexander Ryazanov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee has convened a meeting of Gazprom’s Regional Policy Commission.

The Commission discussed the preliminary results of gas deliveries to Russian customers over 2005 and addressed supply projections for 2006.

The Commission advised that Gazprom’s Marketing and Gas & Liquid Hydrocarbons Processing Department and Mezhregiongaz keep improving the discipline of gas payments from the Russian Federation consumers.

The meeting pointed to the need of passing legislation relative to reserve fuels owned by prominent Russian gas consumers. Gazprom’s core business units received pertinent instructions.

Ultimately the meeting heard a report by Sibneft’s top management on said firm’s regional policy. The Commission entrusted the Department of Relationships with the RF Regional Authorities with developing measures to bring Sibneft’s regional policy in line with Gazprom’s Regional Policy Conception.
