Moscow, November 23, 2005. OJSC CenterTelecom (RTS: ESMO, ESMOP; MICEX: CTLK, CTLKP; OTC: CRMUY) buys 100% of the stock of CJSC ATS, the largest telephony operator in Tver.

On November 21, 2005 OJSC CenterTelecom bought 100% of the authorized capital stock of CJSC ATS, the largest telephony operator in Tver. The company services 27 thousand subscribers and occupies the second place on the telecommunications market of the Tver Region after the Tver Branch of OJSC CenterTelecom.

The Company owns licenses to provide local telephony services, local and intra-zone telephony services, communication channel lease services, and telematic services. Highly experienced in the provision of “new services” (telematics, IP telephony, hosting, various intellectual services on PSTN network), CJSC ATS specializes in servicing large corporate customers, small and medium size businesses and communications operators. 

According to Deputy General director - Marketing Director of OJSC CenterTelecom Sergei Pridantsev the purchase of CJSC ATS is aimed at expanding the presence of OJSC CenterTelecom in the Tver Region, derive additional revenue, increase the volume of services provided, build up the capacity, implement new technologies, and provide integrated solutions for the highly profitable corporate sector.
