Moscow. 12 January 2006. Today, RAO "UES of Russia" held a meeting with representatives of educational and cultural institutions, and charity organizations (including the Moscow Energy Institute, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Modern Play School Theatre, Society for Encouragement of Russian Poetry. Moscow Hospice, CharitiesAidFoundation, etc.). The meeting was intended to promote the Company's dialogue with society and improve corporate social responsibility. The role of independent observer at the meeting was played by a representative of Ernst & Young, an audit company.

Principal attention was paid to increasing transparency and efficiency of charity work carried out by RAO "UES of Russia". The meeting participants considered the ways to develop cooperation between non-profit organizations and the Company.
