Regulating system of the turbine was transferred from hydraulic system to electronic hydraulic one. Now its operation is effected from the electronic module according to the specified program. Automatic system increased reliability and accuracy of maintenance of technological characteristic of the turbine - speed of rotation, electric power. Electronics controls necessary modes at launching of the turbine, follows the loads during operation. Labour of the staff became easier. The servosystem has been worked out by specialists of “Uralenergoremont”. Last November the station in the same way automated operation of turbine No.5.
Specialists of TGC-9 did not finish only with this innovation. At the turboset they installed two remote rotodynamic oil pumps made in Germany. It allowed to abandon the central oil pump that was provided by the previous technology and installed at the arbor of the turbine. And application of the electric actuator on the new pumps allows to direct the released steam that was earlier used for “spinup” of the demounted one, to generation of additional electric energy. Reliability of the turbine was also added by the installed emergency oil pump that, in case of missing of electric energy, allows to supply oil into the system at the expense of supply from electric batteries. Modernization of the turbine makes heat supply of Ekaterinburg consumers more reliable.
