Krasnodar, January 27, 2005 – Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”) (RTS: KUBN, KUBNP; OTC USA: STJSY), the principal fixed-line telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District, reports that its Board of Directors has approved the Decision on including three bond issues of "UTK" PJSC into the MICEX Listings (Minutes ? 13 ?f January 21, 2005).

Pursuant to the approved Decision the following UTK bonds have been included in the MICEX Listing A2: series 01 non-convertible interest-bearing  certificated pay-to-bearer bonds (individual state registration number of the bond issue- 4-05-00062-A), series 02 non-convertible interest-bearing  certificated pay-to-bearer bonds (individual state registration number of the bond issue- 4-06-00062-A), series 03 non-convertible interest-bearing  certificated pay-to-bearer bonds (individual state registration number of the bond issue- 4-07-00062-A).

At the same time the above mentioned securities have been included in the list of securities permitted to  be traded in CJSC “Stock Exchange MICEX” (approved by the General Management of CJSC “Stock Exchange MICEX”, Minutes # 6 of December 21,2004).
