Power supply in Samara community Krutye Kluchi can be cut off because of debts of the power transmission company

OOO Solly-Energo, a company transmitting power to Krutye Kluchi community in Samara, has not been paying its power supply fees for over a year. The company's debts to Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), increase every month and may result in power cut off for the end consumers (residents of the community). Over 50 thousand people may end up living without electric power because of indebtedness of OOO Solly-Energo.

OOO Solly-Energo transmits and distributes power on the territory of Krutye Kluchi community located in the Krasnoglinskiy district of Samara. Power is supplied by the grids of Samara branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and transmitted to end consumers via OOO Solly-Energo. Samara Distribution Grids made numerous attempts to resolve the issue with OOO Solly-Energo. However, representatives of this local transmission company evade any contacts. The Arbitration Court of the Samara region has issued 11 decrees in favour of debt recovery by IDGC of Volga, PJSC. Yet, it is impossible to recover any debts even based on the court judgment. The company's accounts have been arrested. The company's operating facilities are leased and in a state of disrepair which regularly leads to power outages in the community.

The power suppliers are ready to take any legal actions as under the current financial conditions any debts of local transmission companies are not only financially damaging for a particular supplier, but also affect power supply of the whole region. "Operations of any local power transmission company are socially-oriented since comfort of the residents, industrial works, stable operation of boiler houses, schools, kindergartens and hospitals depend on continuous power supply", says Svetlana Lapteva, Deputy Director for Sales and Service Development of Samara Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. "Taking into account that Krutye Kluchi is a community of economy class dwellings which are homes for many young families with children, the situation with OOO Solly-Energo becomes unprecedented. Thousands of people may suffer because of the company's negligence of its contractual liabilities to IDGC of Volga, PJSC.
